General Foot Care

Sweaty Feet

Sweaty Feet, a condition called Hyperhidrosis, involve excessive sweating due to overactive sweat glands. While occasional foot perspiration is common, some people experience it persistently, often along with sweaty palms and armpits, leading to discomfort and embarrassment.

As podiatrists, we can help manage sweaty feet by first assessing the severity and ruling out underlying causes. We provide advice on proper foot hygiene, recommend appropriate footwear and socks.  In more persistent cases, we may refer patients to a GP or dermatologist.
